The mission of the FSMA is to motivate young people to be better citizens. JROTC accomplishes this mission by providing exceptional educational opportunities and lifelong skills to America’s youth. The Marine Corp JROTC program builds character through supporting less violence, higher self-esteem, less absenteeism, higher achievement scores and stronger academic performance, as well as more connectedness to school, engagement in lessons, and commitment to success.
